Fannie Mae faces investor lawsuit (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Fannie Mae is the subject of an investor lawsuit seeking class-action status that accuses the mortgage giant of misrepresenting the company's capital needs, court documents filed on Monday said.
The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Southern District of New York by Coughlin Stoia law firm and seeks damages, attorneys' fees, equitable or injunctive relief.
